Bathroom interior from the 1970s

This photo is similar to the one published yesterday but shows a different bathroom interior, also from the USA and of a similar date in the 1970s. Although these photos would have been pretty boring when they were first taken to anyone other than the photographer (who probably took them to remind them of a hotel or guest house visit), today they make a fascinating look back to the decor of previous times.
Things that stands out in the photo
The floral/starburst wallpaper is very typical of early-70s home dรฉcor, especially in bathrooms. Also the colour palette of powder-blue fixtures, pastel tones, and patterned walls fits the era very well.
- The drop-in blue basin and tiled countertopย are consistent with 1960sโ70s bathrooms. The small ceramic tiles with light grout were also very common in that period.
- This style of horizontal fluorescent vanity light was very popular in mid-century bathrooms and this fashion continued into the 70s.
- The mirror is a simple rectangular design again typical.
- The chrome box on the wall to the left looks like a wall-mounted electric bathroom heater, a fairly common feature in mid-century American and some Canadian homes.
- The switches appear to be early plastic toggle switches which are again consistent with the 1970s.
