Family bathroom from the 1970s

This is a snapshot of a bathroom from 1976 that was probably taken in the US, showing typical fixtures and décor of that era. The setting doesn’t appear staged, its much more likely a family snapshot or possibly a  photo taken in a hotel or guest room.

From a European perspective the most surprising thing to see is the number of electrical cables and sockets that are in close proximity to the basin – that would not be allowed today because it’s an obvious safely hazard.
