This super 8 film seems to feature a parade through the city of Marina in the USA and was probably taken in about 1975. I'm not very au fait with US customs and I assume the film is a High School parade, but I noticed there are Disney Characters so it may be nothing to do with a school at all.
About the Film
The film was an eBay purchase as part of a set of 3 films I bought for about £8 which I bought chiefly because they were all Super 8. I've found that the process of digitising the films I use is much better with Super 8 than Standard 8((Presumably because of the increased film area of Super 8 )) so at the moment, until I improve the scanning process, I'm trying to concentrate on Super 8.
The other two films in the bundle are 7 inch reels so they will be some longer films to look forward to in the near future.

The film is shown below. I would guess that the action takes place later in the day because the second half of the film is shot in quite poor lighting conditions and is not very well exposed.
If anyone can help me out and supply a bit more information about this parade, either to confirm it is a high school parade, or let me know what it really is, I'd be most grateful - just use the comments section below.
