Exeter Cathedral c1960

I believe this is Exeter Cathedral, viewed from Cathedral Close, looking toward one of the cathedral’s distinctive Norman transept towers. Exeter is unusual among English cathedrals in having two massive square Norman towers rather than a central tower and the second tower can be seen behind the main church building. Also, the Gothic windows below contrast nicely with the heavier Norman masonry above, which fits Exeter perfectly.
Judging by the cars and clothing, this looks to be dated in the late 1950s to early 1960s. The red Mini which is probably an early Morris Mini-Minor introduced 1959, is the strongest dating clue but other saloon cars nearby also fit that date. Also the coats, suits, and the children’s clothing all seem to agree with that date.
