Painting eggs – August 1967

A photo, taken in August 1967 of what appears to be a group of women decorating eggs. Unfortunately the exposure is a couple of stops under exposed so it’s difficult to see, but I can see a box of eggs on the table and a rack of brightly coloured eggs on a stand and the ladies seem to be painting patterns onto the eggs.

Possibly these were sold as a tourist piece?
