HRH QE2 The Queen Mother – September 1965

This Kodachrome colour slide of HRH Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was taken in the summer of 1965 at a public event somewhere in the UK. I suspect that fans of the royal family would be able to pin the location down by the people surrounding her, but I don’t have any idea of the location or the event she was visiting.

Unfortunately, the slide was slightly under exposed, probably because it was taken on an instamatic camera that had very few settings to adjust for the light level.
