Two ladies chatting in front of the TV

An Ektachrome slide of two ladies chatting in armchairs, with the sunlight streaming in from a window to their left. The exposure is a little bit out, probably caused by the sunlight, which means the background is under exposed, which is a shame because I find the most interesting part of the picture is the TV sitting behind them.

I'm not sure of the actual model or make of TV, but the general design suggests this photo was taken in the early to mid 1950s.
