A view of the fishing village of Peel on the Isle of Man that was taken in 1951. The photographer has climbed up a bank to get the shot, which includes some of the village, the boats moored along the quayside and the sea in the distance. I can see what I assume to be fishing nets hanging over the rails by the water edge.
This was taken on an unknown film stock, but since the colours have held up well it's probably a Kodachrome variant.
