A portrait of a man standing in front of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota, USA.
Although this is a Kodachrome slide, it is an early one before the processing date started to be printed on the slide mount, so I know it's probably in the 1940s or 1950s, but can't be precise. In a characteristic way, the Kodachrome has kept its colour saturation very well, but there is a slight colour cast in the image, just below the carving of Theodore Roosevelt - this is probably caused by some deterioration at that point in the slide because there is a slight dent at that point.
Generally the condition is good, although the focus is slightly off on the central figure.
