Fleetwood in Lancashire – 1955

A colour slide of the coast at Fleetwood in Lancashire which was taken some time in 1955 – probably during the summer months. The photographer has taken a high stance to capture a large part of the seafront, and it’s interesting to see all the cars parked neatly along the road.

The slide is a glass-mounted version, so it’s difficult to find out which film emulsion was used, although the colour has held up well, so it’s probably a Kodachrome variant.
