Louise and Elsie at Roach Bridge

This is one of those rare pictures where the names of the people in it are known. Written on the side of this Ektachrome colour slide is the sentence ‘Louise & Elsie, Roach Bridge, Samlesbury’, which gives us the name of the people and the precise location the picture was taken. I don’t know the date, but I would guess this was probably the early 1970s.
