Household cavalry in London around 1955

A picture taken quite a while ago of the Household Cavalry in London. I didn’t immediately know where this was, but a search on the Internet found this picture which is from approximately the same viewpoint, but many years later.

I’ve estimated the date to be between 1950 and 1959 for the purposes of indexing this photo.
