Family with young children at home

A picture of a family with young children taken at home with their parents. The children seem to be playing with or showing toys so this could be just after a family birthday. The most striking feature to me is the very busy carpet which screams 1970s to me. That's why, although I don't know the date for certain, I've classified it as 1970 to 1979.

Update: When this photo was posted on Twitter a viewer commented that she had had one of the little dogs that the girl in the picture is playing with when she was a child and could therefore date the photo to about 1976. Thanks Anne Archell-Green
