A Picture of a young girl applying makeup whilst sitting on a towel on a concrete platform near the beach. The make up is from a small bag placed by her leg, and there is a wicker basket sitting on the ground on the other side of her which seems to have lunch in. I also noticed by her knee is a pair if blue sunglasses ready to put on once she has finished with the make up.

The picture dates from the mid to late 1950s.
