Italian holiday village c1960

A medium format slide of an Italian village in the mountains which was probably taken around 1960. The group of people standing in the foreground, in front of the fountain, seem to be looking at something in the hands of the person in the centre of the group, and seeing what seems to be a camera case under his hands it looked as if they were looking at a picture he has just taken! Perhaps he was a time traveller just transported back from 2019!

In reality he is probably looking at a map.
