Late 1950s family portrait

A portrait of a couple of women, one seated and one standing behind, which was probably taken at Christmas time in the late 1950s or possibly the early 1960s. I’ve tried to identify the TV behind the women, but I can’t quite make the lettering out – it seems to have 5 letters so it may be Baird, but it could be any number of other makes.
