Edinburgh castle under repair in the late 1950s
A picture of Edinburgh castle which looks as if it is being either cleaned or repaired because it is surrounded by scaffolding. The date is probably the late 1950s judging by the cars, coach and clothes the people are wearing.

i would date the pic 1966 or later, as the blue Estate car, an Austin Countryman (or Morris Traveller) was launched in this year.
