The Park keeper, Switzerland late 1950s

This is a study of a park keeper or gardener pushing a barrow of cuttings along a road in Switzerland near one of the lakes. Although I don’t know the exact location, this picture was in a series of other images which were taken during a summer holiday in Switzerland, so that is the likely location.

The thing which most struck me about this picture is the way the dynamics of the scene have been captured by the film. This is a Kodachrome image, and the the brightness and saturated colours have a fantastic and very typical ‘Kodachrome’ look.
