The Rotunda building in the city of Warsaw Poland, about 1960?

A colour slide of a tram station in a town in possibly Germany or Poland.

This is a slide from a series of images which were taken in one or more European cities by the same photographer, but have no indication on the slide mount of the date or location. This image shows a city which has trams operating, and the car gives the impression that the date is probably in the late 1950s or early 1960s. I think, because of the number of trams lined up in the picture, this is probably a tram station, with the circular building forming the station concourse and ticket office.

I believe the city is in Poland because one of the other images has a more detailed picture of a train, and it has a route marker which says ‘Gdansk’ on it, but the seller of the slides on eBay thought the pictures were of Germany. Any insight from a found-film viewer would be very helpful.

Update: A couple of very helpful viewers on Google Plus have pointed out that this picture is indeed in Poland – it is the city of Warsaw and the circular building shown is not the tram station at all but a branch of the bank of Poland and is called the Rotunda. I’ve updated the title and location to suit.
