Motor race meeting from the 1950s

A picture of a motor race meeting in the 1950s showing a racing car being driven along a road in front of a crowd. I don’t know when or where this was taken, and so my guess at the date being the 1950s is just that, a guess, but I think it must be sometime around that date.

In the distance, to the left of the picture is a sign which says, ‘LUCAZ’ although I think this is stylised writing of Lucas – presumably one of the motor manufacturers of the time. I’ve heard of Lucas oil, but I didn’t know they were also a racing car manufacturer or sponsor, but Motor racing isn’t one of my interests. I’d be interested in hearing from anyone who recognises the track or has any information about the car – I know it’s a fuzzy picture but hopefully, someone will recognise something which may help.
