Fisherman’s Bastion in Budapest in the 1960s
This picture shows the Fisherman’s Bastion in Budapest, with the statue outside and cars parked nearby.
This took quite a bit of searching on google images to find the exact location. I initially looked for a statue in Budapest (guessing at the city) and eventually found what seemed to be the right called, called Statue Saint Etienne. However, when I looked at that location, it didn’t seem to fit the surroundings of this picture so I did some more searching and eventually found an image with the two towers shown. As far as I can see, this it the Fisherman’s Bastion, which is a little way from the Church in Budapest I posted a couple of days ago.
The cars give the date of the picture as the 1960s to possibly the 1970s.
