A picture of Bath Abbey taken from Stall Street in October 1974.
This is a rather underexposed picture which was possibly taken in the early evening. The problem with underexposed film is it leads to much higher noise and colour casts, and that is certainly the case here, although I did apply some noise reduction in Lightroom after the picture was scanned.
The picture shows the front entrance to the Abbey, but the poor lighting does mean it's difficult to see too much detail; it is possible, however, to see how few people there are compared to the modern day google street view.
