Boats at Bidford-on-Avon in 1974

This Kodachrome colour slide is marked with the processing date of Jun 1975, but is also marked with a hand written note which says, ‘Bidford on Avon Aug 74’, which is what gives me the location and date the picture was actually taken.

It shows boats moored on the banks of the river, and one narrow boat being navigated along the river. In the background is shown the Bidford Bridge, which is a Scheduled Monument, and the church in the town.
