This picture was taken on Kodak Kodachrome colour slide film and has generally lasted quite well over the years although there is a little bit of an odd colour tint in the sky. That could be due to changes in the film, or more likely, it was because the picture was taken late in the day and the colour balance didn't match the film being used.
