This slide shows a couple standing next to a garden in Lucerne in Switzerland and dates sometime from the early 1960s.
I believe this couple are the same people who appeared in the picture of Joch Pass which was published a few days ago. I don't know if this is the photographer and his/her wife or husband, or friends of the photographer although quite obviously they are not the photographer of this picture! They are standing next to a well-tended garden or park on a wide pathway with seats and flagpoles running down its length. There is obviously a road running down beside this pathway, and I can see cars parked in the distance.
I tried to find the exact location on google maps, but although there are gardens and parks marked in Lucerne I couldn't find anything exactly the same as this. Of course, it's possible the garden no longer exists or the buildings have changed and it's not possible to find it but finding the location is always one of the interesting mysteries of old photos.
