Two ladies by their window in June 1966

A picture of two ladies taken outside the window and door of a house in June 1966.

They could be neighbours, friends, or possibly related. Although there are not many details in this picture, one of the things I found interesting is the object just inside the window, which is a table top valve radio set. I remember very well having a similar radio in our kitchen at home – how different from today when we have a Sonos internet system!
