A Seaside group behind a windbreak

A picture of a group at the seaside behind a wind break. This to me brings back memories of when I went to the seaside in my childhood – we would set up a wind break, lay down a blanket and then read a book or the newspaper. At least, the adults would, I would be running around or playing in the sea.

Unfortunately there aren’t many clues in this picture to tell us who these people are, or where this picture was taken. Counting the person behind the camera there seem to be four couples so presumably they just arranged to meet at the beach one sunny weekend.

The date is unknown but probably sometime in the 1960s.
