School classroom – 1920s
A picture of a school classroom taken sometime in the 1920s and scanned as a black & white print.
How different this looks to a modern classroom  where the sloping seats and slates have given way to an interactive white board and computer. It’s also interesting to see the number of pupils – only 13. Of course I don’t know where this school is or what the status of it is; it is probably a public school but the contrast to the current class size of typically 30 is interesting.
