Durham Castle from car park in 1970s

A picture of Durham Castle taken from a car park across the river sometime in the 1970s.

This picture shows not just the castle, but some interesting old cars, at least to people interested in cars although the only makes I recognise are a few Minis, an Austin Princess and a Hillman Imp. To the side of the picture is a crane and there appears to be some building work taking place to the front of the car park.
