The Château de Chambord in France in August 1980

This is a picture of the Château de Chambord, a large greystone palace with many towers, which was taken on Ektachrome film in August 1980.

Originally this picture had a nondescript title because I couldn't find it on any google images or maps, but Bruce (see comments below) was able to point out the location and identification of the picture - thanks, Bruce!
