This is a 127 medium format picture of a candid street scene in Singapore which was taken in the early 1960s by a serving RAF officer stationed at the RAF Seletar base. A comment supplied by Geraldine Soh (thanks Geraldine) has helped name the actual street in Singapore this was taken as Sago Lane, and once that fact is known it's possible to see that the sign on the wall does say 'Sago Lane'.
It is unfortunate that the picture has been rather spoilt by camera shake, but I suspect this picture was taken on the move, perhaps snapped from the window of a moving car. Most of the other pictures in the series have been very well exposed and focused so I think circumstances, rather than photographer error, is most likely.
