A picture of a group of friends out for the evening somewhere in 1950s America.

It is difficult to see exactly what is going on here, but the girl in the picture seems to be looking at a magazine or book with model boats in – or even possibly real boats. Over in the corner of the room is a piano and someone is playing it, so this looks like a social evening in a bar or restaurant, rather than in someone’s home. The man looking at the camera has appeared in another picture on Found-Film, which I’ve linked in the series viewer below.

Although the slide isn’t dated, the fashions seem to suggest mid-1950s to me, and the slide is a red border Kodachrome which also adds some credence to that guess.
