Waterfall at Olden
The title marked on this slide in pencil is 'Waterfall at Olden'. I therefore did a google search for just that phrase and found a whole series of images of a huge waterfall at a town called Olden in Norway which doesn't look like this picture at all. I did wonder however if this could be the same place but further along the river ? The other scenery does look as if it could be Norway, with the mountains and the style of the cabins.

It does look like Laukifossen just south of the town of Olden in Norway. Certainly I've seen similar bridges to this in that area. I've found this photo on Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/31350486@N04/4857650464), and if you flip your photo horizontally the outline of the mountains on the left of the Flickr photo very closely match those of your photo.
