This is a family group picture taken in a forest or woods. The lighting suggests it is late in the day as the sun is setting and I think it's one of those examples that show just how good colour slide film can be at capturing contrast. I don't know when the picture was taken but the slide itself is a Kodachrome which has written on the mount 'Processed by Technicolor' and red starts down the side which I believe dates it to the 1950s. The subjects in the picture also seem to be dressed consistently for that period.
