This is a red border Kodachrome slide which simply has written on the cardboard mount, 'Leaving St. Monty'. I couldn't find anything on google which gives any clues as to where this is, and there is no date on this slide so it all comes down to imagination and observation. There seems to be some reflections showing in the picture, so I would guess this is taken whilst looking out of the window of a car or coach, and it seems to be while the vehicle is about to turn a corner and enter a tunnel. Or is is simply a covered bridge and the road on the other side turns sharply right?
