Eating the icicles

This is an amusing picture of someone pretending to eat ice from the end of an icicle after a winter freeze. Although these is no date on the mount of this 127 colour slide, the fashion suggests the early 1960s, and since the winter of 1962/63 was particularly bad, with snow for many weeks in a row, I would hazard a guess at that date.
