Boating holiday

A picture of a family or group of friends on a narrowboat presumably on a holiday. I remember having a similar holiday in the 1980s and found it throughly enjoyable, and these people look like they are having a good time as well.

The date and location are not marked on the slide so any information would be gratefully received, although I admit there is very little to go on in the picture to find this out.
