Bessie & Joan

All I know about this picture is that the two women featured are called Bessie and Joan and that the picture was taken in 1957. The date marked on the slide mount is March 1958, so that is consistent with the information marked on the slide mount. They are in a domestic home somewhere so I assume this picture was taken during a family event of some sort.
