The Photographer
This is a very old, red border Kodachrome slide, taken in July 1950, of a man in a field with his dog and a camera. Unfortunately (from my point of view as a collector of vintage cameras) it isn’t possible to see clearly the type of camera he is using because it’s hidden by some grass, but it looks like a twin lens reflex. I wonder if he was planning to take a picture of his companion, or if there was something really interesting out of shot? One of those questions that will be impossible to answer now.
