This photo of the Royal Liver Building was taken in September 1969.
The Liver building is one of Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks, located on the waterfront at the Pier Head. Along with the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool building it forms Liverpool’s “Three Graces” which symbolize Liverpool’s maritime heritage and form a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
