1950s Hotel room

This rather badly exposed colour slide shows a double bed in a hotel room from the early 1950s. Although it’s difficult to make anything out because the slide is so under exposed, I feel that adds to the effect of post-war austerity and lack of luxury. I suspect the actual room wasn’t anything like as bad as it looks in the picture.
