A Children's fancy dress competion

This seems to be a children's fancy dress competition or similar at a local fete or fair. The children are lined up with different costumes on and I can see that one of the little girls is dressed as a strawberry and a little boy has a guitar.

Don't know the location or date, but the clothes suggest probably 1970s
