College or university building and quadrangle

This looks to me like the quadrangle in one of the colleges in Cambridge or Oxford although that is only a guess. It is an old picture which has faded quite a lot, and probably dates from the 1950s or 1960s.

I'd welcome any confirmation or a better guess as to the location.
