Unknown seaside town with seawall and theatre

This is a picture of an unknown seaside town with a sea wall which seems to contain a lake or harbour. The building in the distance looks like a theatre and has the word 'Gaytime' written on it. Date unknown.

Update: A viewer has identified the location as Weston-Super-Mare, near the Marine Lake, so I've updated the location.
