Man on the balcony of a hotel

A man standing on the balcony of a building – possibly a hotel.

I think this is the same man who was in another photo on Found-Film sitting in a cafe, so I’ve linked the two via a series.

There are some quite nasty looking spikes behind him to stop people climbing onto the balcony from below, and behind them, we can just make out the outline of some buildings which may help someone to identify the location. I admit I don’t recognise them, but I don’t have much experience of travel.

The other picture in the series looked like it may date from the late-1950s or early-1960s so this picture is probably the same.
