A canal in Venice?

This slide is simply marked ‘Canal’ so I can’t be certain of it’s location but I assume this must be Venice? I suppose the other logical location it could be would be Amsterdam, but I’ve been to Amsterdam and it this picture doesn’t look like I remember it – it’s too narrow.
