A light aircraft
A light aircraft on the edge of the frame – possibly just taxing to take off, or perhaps it’s just landed. Written on the side of the plane is the insignia N5560F and a google search reveals quite a lot of information from this site. Apparently this is a Piper PA-32R-300 which was made in 1976 and I would guess that this picture is of a similar vintage, so the plane was probably new when the picture was taken. Possibly the owner is the one with the camera?

Looks like a Cessna (172 or 175 I think) rather than a Piper – the PA 32 is low winged
Thanks Russ – I’m not an expert on aircraft as you can tell!
