Morris Minor Traveller on Goonhilly Downs – October 1979

This Kodachrome Instamatic slide from October 1979 shows a couple standing beside their Morris Minor Traveller on Goonhilly Downs in Cornwall. The car is quite a few years old at the time the photo was taken, because production stopped in 1971 so even the newest models would be 8 years old, but looks in quite good condition for it’s age.

I noticed that they have stopped on double yellow lines so possibly there was an urgent reason for the break in their journey, or possibly there was no other traffic around so they decided to stop and look at the communication dish.
