Steam engine Prince on the Ffestiniog railway – August 1974

This Agfacolor slide of the Steam Engine ‘Prince’ was taken in August 1974 and shows the engine at the Tan-y-Bwlch station on the Ffestiniog Railway. The shot was almost certainly taken during a family holiday in Wales, and in 1974 the restored steam engines and railways were a very popular tourist attraction, as they still are today.
