A Photo of the USS Texas c1962

This is a photo of the USS Texas which was taken in the early 1960s, probably around 1962. The ship has been in dry dock at the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, La Porte, Texas since 1948, where she is acting as a museum ship. Prior to this, the ship served in both world wars, and is now the only dreadnought class ship still in existence.

This photo was almost certainly taken during the same trip as the photo published yesterday of the Chevrolet saloon car.
